This 5K is run along the Red River in Grand Forks. It began by running up the steep hill of the dike and then speeding down the other side. Then we ran along a bike trail for a mile and a half and came back. It had a lot of up and down and curves back and forth. The weather couldn't have been better - kind of cool with the sun shining.
For me, it truly was a 'home run'. I achieved my goal of running under 30 minutes! That was my best time in two years.
